Dar al Farooq Invites to ‘KBK’ Tutoring Program Parents of Teenage Sisters in the Muslim Community who are or want to Home School their daughters
Starting September 04, 2010 Enroll your daughters in our intensive Tutoring Program.
Program runs Monday through Thursday
Certified Female Tutors & Graduate Students will be assisting this Girls Only program in Curriculum Instruction: Teaching the curriculum on a daily basis -- Full-time. Courses: Teaching only selected courses of the curriculum -- Part-time. For the entire 2010-2011 School year
Not only will homeschoolers learn the "Three R's", reading, writing and arithmetic, they can learn a whole lot more. Here are just some of those extra subjects that can happen in the normal course of a tutoring day: religion, character development, time management skills, geology, fire safety, money management, nutrition, public speaking, traffic safety, cooking, current events and much more.

Please join us for a weekly gathering where the primary aim is to build stronger community bonds, inshaAllah. The program will be packed with a engaging lecture (brief, focused and interactive) in English by our brother Ilyas Ali, student of the Islamic University of Madinah, food/snacks, and hang-out time with your fellow Muslims in gender appropriate settings.

Al Farooq Academy has been established by Dar Al Farooq Community Center as a one day Weekend School for religious instruction for Muslim children under the guidance of Dr. Waleed Idris Al-Meneese. This program will run on Saturdays between the hours of 9.45 AM to 2.45 PM., for children between the ages of 6 years and 12 years. In the second stage of the program we will introduce the same curriculum for children 13 years to 15 years of age on Sundays only. The program is centered on an intense Arabic language curriculum which incorporates Quran memorization and Quranic understanding. Islamic studies as an essential part of the program and will be taught both in Arabic and in English for older students whose native language is not Arabic. The school staff consists of very qualified instructors and an administration that is committed to the cause of Islamic education for our children and thus serving the cause of Allah Subhana-hu-wa-ta'ala.
