Random Hadith

‘Abd Allah Ibn Mas’ud narrated:

the Messenger of Allah (SAAW) said,“Let there be no envy, except in two things:

  1. A man whom Allah gave a wealth and guided him to spend it in righteous way.
  2. Or a man to whom Allah gave wisdom and he acts wisely and teaches it to others.”

(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Dar Al-Farooq
Ramadan Mubarak

Dar Al Farooq wishes RAMADAAN MUBARAK to the Muslim Community of Minnesota

The first day of fasting will be Wednseday and the first night of Taraweeh will be Tuesday

It is appropriate that every Muslim should receive the blessed month of Ramadan with repentance, sincerity, resoluteness and earnestness. He/she should make the intention to perform extra acts of devotion and worship therein, including the Night Prayer (qiyam), recitation of Qur'an, and abundant charity to the poor and needy. On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), used to say the following when the month of Rajab began. "Oh Allah! Bless us in Rajab and Sha`ban, and bring us, oh Allah, to Ramadan." [Narrated by Tabarani and Ahmad]
